About Us

Hi!  I'm Kelli.  I'm a wife, mom, and under(not)paid painter.  My husband Patrick and I have been married for thirteen years, and we have two wonderful daughters.  We've bought, renovated, and sold three houses, and now we're taking on our biggest project ever.  I bring the ideas, dreams, and the unskilled labor, and he does all the hard stuff.

Our new house is an 80's faux-lonial with plenty of um, potential.  It's a 3/2.5/2 at around 2000 square feet.  It's currently consuming about 85% of our free time, and about 173% of our money.  Although the to-do list is daunting, we're all excited to make it our own!  This blog is intended as an outlet so I can stop flooding my personal Facebook page with house related posts.  Hopefully it will also motivate me to finish projects completely and get a good "after" before moving on to the next room; I tend to bounce around to "the next worst thing" when left to my own devices.
